Nelson’s Birthplace

This¬† barn is built on the site of a much earlier house a rectory. The rectory was where Nelson’s Father lived whilst he ministered to the Parish of Burnham Thorpe. Both the church and this barn are hugely significant for the role they played in Nelson’s early life. Also the creek in front of the house is where Nelson as a young boy designed model sailing boats.
